في محاولة جديدة لتحسين وتسويق صورة الانقلاب العسكري في مصر لدى الاعلام الغربي, أرسلت وزارة الخارجية ملف عن الأحداث في مصر للصحفيين الأجانب المهتمين بالشأن المصري ملفات تحمل عنوان مصر تحارب الإرهاب باللغة الإنجليزية , تزيف فيه الحقائق عن المجازر التى ارتكبت بحق المتظاهرين في مصر .
ويحتوى الملف -الذى حصلت شبكة رصد على نسخة منه من خلال أحد الصحفيين الأجانب- على مجموعة صور منهم صورة قالوا إنها "لأحد أفراد جماعة الإخوان المسلمين وهو يطلق الرصاص أثناء ما يطلقون عليه تظاهرات السلمية". حسبما كتب على الصورة
في حين توضح عدة صور متداولة على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي " فيس بوك" لنفس الشخص أثناء مجزرة المنصة أنه أحد ضباط الأمن بزى مدني, حيث يقف في أحد الصور بجوار إحدى مدرعات الشرطة مع مجموعة من البلطجية المعاونين للشرطة.
وقد استعانت أيضا الوزارة بفيديو يوضح ما اسموه بأثر اعتداء أفراد جماعة الإخوان المسلمين على إحدى طائرات التصوير التابعة للجيش, على حد وصفهم, لكن الفيديو يظهرفيه طائرة حربية في المهبط الخاص و بها عدة طلقات رصاص, لكنه لا يوجود به ما يوضح اعتداء المتظاهرين عليها و يسبقه ويعقبه كتابات يبدو أنها تمت باستخدام برامج بدائية للغاية.

وهذا الفيديو الذي تسوقه وزارة الخارجية وتظهر فيه ان الطائرة تم الاعتداء عليها من قبل الاخوان وفيه : -
1 - الطائرة تصور في المهبط بعيدا عن اي احداث وكان من الاولى تصوير واقعة الاعتداء عليه وخصوصا انها طائرة تصوير كما يقول المعلق في الفيديو اي انها مجهزة بالكاميرات والمصورين
2 - في الثانية الـ 14 يظهر اثر الرصاصة من الداخل للخارج فهل يعقل ان يكون الاخوان ضربوا الطائرة من الداخل
